Fit out

Unless you have been extraordinarily lucky your new office will need some attention before you can commence working in it. Floor boxes will need moving, cellular offices, equipment rooms, meeting rooms and kitchens will need to be constructed, telephone lines, access control and security systems  will need installing.

It is more efficient to plan for your office to be ready for use on day 1. Moving offices is traumatic enough without the extra stress, inconvenience and noise of having contractors working alongside your employees while they are unpacking and familiarising themselves with their new environment.

Equipment

In the modern world, business cannot afford to lose e-mail and/or telephone connectivity. Regardless of whether you move your existing equipment or purchase new it must be ready for use on day 1.

The Relocation Company is able to decommission, relocate and recommission existing, or arrange the provision of new, IT, Comms, printer, photocopier and fax equipment. We can also arrange for your unwanted equipment to be disposed of.

 

Furniture

Relocations usually mean that you will need some new furniture, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, meeting tables, etc. If you are a start up company you will need everything.

Filing

Prior to relocating we would recommend carrying out a full filing audit to ensure there is enough capacity in your new office. Most companies use change as a reason to remove expired or unwanted files. You may also wish to replace your existing set up with a space saving new system.
